Trust matters more on a site about money problems than almost anywhere else. This page explains how content on Rebuild Forward gets made, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give it.
How our content is produced
Rebuild Forward uses a combination of AI-assisted research and drafting, along with human review, to produce articles. In practice, that means:
- AI tools may be used to help research topics, organize information, and draft initial content
- A human reviews content before it’s published, checking for accuracy, tone, and whether it actually reflects the reality of financial setbacks
- We update articles when we find outdated information, broken links, or claims that no longer hold up
We’re telling you this directly because we think readers deserve to know how content gets made, not because we think it should undermine your trust. The goal of human review is to make sure nothing goes live that’s misleading, unverified, or out of step with what real people dealing with debt and credit issues actually need.
How we verify information
Before publishing, we check claims — especially numbers, program rules, eligibility requirements, and legal or regulatory details — against primary or reputable sources, such as government agencies, established consumer finance organizations, or the terms and disclosures published directly by a company or service. When information is uncertain, changes frequently, or varies by state or lender, we say so rather than presenting it as a fixed fact.
What we won’t do
- We won’t publish specific numeric claims (like guaranteed credit score increases or savings amounts) without a verifiable basis
- We won’t present a product’s marketing claims as our own independent findings
- We won’t shame readers for their financial situation or imply there’s one “right” way to recover from a setback
